“Yum” — an expression of pure joy when something tastes delicious.

“Mee” — the maiden name of our loving mother, the woman whose strength and sacrifice inspired it all.

For over 30 years, our mother Mee grew and sold fresh vegetables at the Dane County Farmers’ Market in Madison, WI. Through rain, heat, long days, and early mornings, she worked tirelessly to care for all eight of her children. Her dedication, resilience, and unwavering love are the foundation of who we are today.

Yummee Treats was created by Yeng Yang, who started the bakery with a dream:

to one day take care of both his parents — a father who suffered a stroke, and a mother who continued farming to provide for the family. Every cookie we bake carries the work ethic, humility, and heart that Mee taught us.

Today, Yummee Treats is honored to share our award-winning cookies with the world, including the “Best Chocolate Chip Cookie in the State of Wisconsin” – Yelp and “Tastiest Cookie in the State of WI” – LoveFood. Alongside our signature flavor, we craft a wide variety of gourmet cookies made to warm hearts, spark smiles, and bring people together.
